Early season Cardrona 2014

Early season riding is always so fun for me as its a great way to get back on snow an make a slow start towards the winter .

Taking easy laps with friends an enjoying the chairlift runs before shooting an filming begins

This past week, I enjoyed venturing out the back of Cardrona to a newish zone I had been scoping .
We found nice snow an the back drop into the Cardrona valley was amazing .

Every year when I get back to N.Z its exciting to read new publications that have come out an dropped images from the winter .

NZ Snowboarder is a magazine I looked up to so much growing up as a kid an even now I get excited reading their new issue's an seeing fresh content .

This past winter gone in N.Z , we did a camping trip article up to Mt Cook for 3 days an the snow was amazing , I also got to Heli around the southern Lakes with Antti Autti for a few days so it was cool to see those images come to print .

Here's a quick clip of the Hawthorn DVS boot I helped have input with

I would never have thought in a million years I'd ever have my name or signature on a product to endorse , so its a dream come true

Stevens Pass Quick Clip

Here's a quick clip filmed from Stevens Pass this year .

Stevens has become almost like a 2nd home for me being away from N.Z.
It has great terrain, amazing snow an the vibe there is nice an chill .

Northern Norway & Alaska

During the winter this year I was stoked to go on a couple of great separate film trips .

The 1st being to Tamok in the far north of Norway an then back to Haines in AK .

Norway was an absolute blast an really beautiful .

The scenery , snow conditions an overall crew really made the trip a highlight for me .

Anybody who hasnt experience Norway , its a must !

Haines AK was awesome this year as well .

Alot of people decided to not film there because it was alot lower snow-wise than previous years .

It was a quick trip for me , just 6 days an although it would have been nice to stay awhile up there , 

It was nice to get a few good days then leave .

I rode this fun chute on my 2nd day , it was a great way to feel out the snow an burn out the jet lag with a decent hike .

This year I decided to catch a flight to Haines , its just a quick 40 minutes from Juneau an the views were awesome up front .

This was the 1st face we rode in Haines , the snow was great an the morning light on it lit it up so well .

Japan Edit

Last winter I spent some time in Hokkaido Japan .

It was a great time over there , with alot of snow  .

Quite hard work at times to film an hike around in , but all worth it in the end :)
